What was the highlight of Hotel Voramar

Wonderful

We had a beautiful sea-facing room with lovely views. Our room was spacious and well designed, as was our bathroom. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we had a nice balcony overlooking the sea. The restaurant of the hotel is very nice - airy and light and with views of the sea. We didn't eat in the restaurant and so I can't comment on the food. The location of this hotel is excellent - not only is it on the sea front, but it is also a short walk from numerous very nice restaurants and a sandy beach for swimming. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.

Only small quibbles, but I wish there had been an iron and ironing board and some milk for my tea!

High standard!

Excellent location, very high standard rooms and lovely breakfast with very good quality products.

I think the cost could be a little lower or just include the parking. It would discourage me from staying 2 nights.

Stunning stay in the most charming town!

We just spent the last 3 weeks traveling throughout France, Italy, Spain, and Andorra and this hotel was our favorite accommodation by far! The town was so cute and charming and surrounded by the most breathtaking countryside. Everyone was nice. We accidentally woke up to the most beautiful sunrise. I highly recommend this hotel and getting a sea view room. We just stayed here one night, but we are already dreaming of coming back to L’Escala and spending a few days at Hotel Voramar.

Wonderful hotel!

Very very beautiful and comfortable room, and most importantly very quiet. We slept great that night! Large and comfortable bed, fold-out sofa for a child. Coffee machine in the room. Large bathroom. Beautiful color palette of the room. The receptionist is friendly and helpful.

There were a couple of comments, we passed them on to the employee and I think the hotel will easily correct them, so there is no point in writing about them))))

Limited room service menu (only sushi)...but maybe it's too small a hotel for such a service.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were exceptional. Breakfast was superb.

The only thing would be to have hand soap by the sink. Had to go to the shower to get soap each time I washed my hands.

TOP: Bed. Location. View. Breakfast. BOTOM: tight room for a 4 star hotel and not furnished enough.

Overall the balance between what you pay and what you get is pretty good. The bed and mattress oh my dear, was incredible. The bathroom was fine, nothing spectacular, nevertheless impecable, spotless. We got the room with a sea view: it was simply a dream. We saw the sun rising and enjoyed it so very much. Breakfast continental type, diverse and exquisite. We didn't try the restaurant as we went out. Location is simply the best. Right by the sea. In the center of the village so you go walking everywhere around. 24 hour personnel very polite and well informed.

The room had only 1 chair and a very small desk to leave things. For 2 people and luggage, AT LEAST you need a couple of chairs and a couple of luggage holders. We left everything on the floor. Sad. The wardrobe was tiny, with about 10 hangers and 2 available drawers. Definitely not enough for 2 people and definetly not enough for a longer stay than 1 night. The minibar was integrated in the lower drawer. Heating everything above it. THere were 2 courtesy capsules for nesspresso coffee machine. If you wanted more, you should ask and pay. Pathetic. No water boiler nor courtesy tea, nor anything else. This is a cheap way to cut your budget.
